Hallo,
We would like to introduce ourselves!
We are Dave & Prue Shockley, a husband and wife team based here in Charlottesville Virginia.

Dave had been a computer program consultant in the state of Virginia for over 18 years.  He
obtained his Bachelors Degree at Temple University in Tennessee. He is currently the Managing
Broker of the Real Estate III - West Office at Faulconer Drive.

He has obtained the following...

--Charlottesville Area Association Professional Honor Society, EVERY YEAR  (1999-2008)
--the Frank John Kessler award,  (2000)
--the Circle of Excellence Award for
OUTSTANDING SERVICE. ( EVERY YEAR) 1999-2008
--The Ethics Award.   ( 2005)
--The Ethics Award 2008 from the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors CAAR which has
over 700 members.

Dave is a multi million producer every year.

In keeping with the current climate Dave was amongst the 1st Realtors to obtain the E-PRO   
(Internet Professionally Certified Realtor) and RECS  (Member of the Real Estate Cyberspace
Society).  We both have been certified as Relocation Specialists. With new construction and new
developments as one of our top interests we are both members of the recently REAL ESTATE III
NEW HOMES DIVISION.  (We have also obtained the Nationally recognized Real Estate
Certification in New Construction, CNHS).  This team provides information to the public regarding
builders and new construction in general, and then information to the builders as to what the public
want in new homes etc.  This makes the process of home building less stressful to both the builder
and the public.

Dave has held the position of Co-Chair of the Community Relations Committee of CAAR, and is
currently on the board at CAAR.

I am basically the general "dogs body" in the team mostly assisting Dave. I am a true Irish native,
having moved to the US almost 20 years ago. ( Phew ..it does go by fast, doesn't it?) I obtained
my Bachelor degree in Psychology at the University College London in London, England in 1973,
and more recently my Masters Degree in School Psychology at the University of Hartford, in
Connecticut in 1990.  I worked as a Licensed School Psychologist for over 8 years before
becoming a Licensed Realtor and work with my husband as his assistant. (General dogs body
etc)!!  I specialize in Wintergreen Resort properties, (new construction, resales and home sites).
We were lucky enough to have lived in Wintergreen as full time residents for 5 years.

As a team we are totally committed to serving our clients with integrity, honesty and care, whilst
finding the home of their dreams!
